About Niklas

Dr Niklas Luhmann is a medical doctor. He completed his Master of Science (Msc) in International Public Health at the University of Berlin and Copenhagen in 2006. He has been working for many years on access to healthcare of key populations with a focus on issues around HIV and viral hepatitis prevention, treatment and care access. He joined the French NGO Medecins du Monde (MdM) in 2005 and is today working as HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis advisor for MdM at the headquarters in Paris. For the past years, he has worked increasingly on issues related to hepatitis C treatment access in low and middle income countries.
